Project descriptionThe project was performed in order to thoroughly analyse and understand how Shell currently positions within the energy transition. More specifically, to determine the efforts made to engage the millennial generation within this process. A performance analysis was conducted on Shell and a few main competitors, being BP, Total and ExxonMobil. The retrieved information funded as the essential knowledge to conclude upon the present implication of sustainability practices in general, and on engagement efforts in particular. Ultimately, the study aspires to propose a few suggestions on how Shell could optimize the process of involving and ideally engaging the millennial generation in the energy transition. At last, this project aims to describe current perspective from the large gas and oil companies on contributing to a sustainable society and to understand the role of social media within this process.
